home, sweet, home
Alaska may be one of the greatest places in the world to live, work and play, but definitely not to shop! We thought we’d take on the Persian Flaw of Alaska and see if we couldn’t find a way to bring some great shopping right here to the Mat-Su Valley!
WHAT IF there was actually a way to get some money back on those hidden treasures in our closets and homes that we paid good money for new, wore once or twice (or not at all!) and decided that we didn’t just LOVE them or they just weren’t US? We’ve tried the yard sale route (while the stuff sold, it left us with somewhat of a belly ache watching our nice items go for just pennies!), the CraigsList route (again, the stuff sold most of the time, but we grew tired of meeting strangers in strange places to do cash transactions!), the eBay route (and grew really tired of driving to and from the Post Office, not to mention waiting in line and paying fees!).
After participating in a children’s consignment event in Battle Ground, Washington, with friends, and in another children’s event here in Palmer, it really struck us that the exact same concept would work for our own closets! Consign49 offers the ONLY way to clean out your closets, renew your look, earn extra cash, and participate in a fun and productive community event, all in one place!
We look forward to meeting you at our next event! Our event is nothing without our consignors and volunteers, so we are here to help. Please don’t hesitate to ask any questions or contact us for any reason at firstname.lastname@example.org.
